Associated Campus Entertainment - No Names, Please (ACE-NNP) was a loosely
organized group founded at Tri-School: Servite High School (Anaheim), Rosary
High School (Fullerton), and Cornelia Connelly School of the Holy Child Jesus
(Anaheim). Those who knew of ACE's existence included students at these
schools:
Calabasas High School
California State University, Fullerton
California State University, Long Beach
Hamilton Law and Government Magnet School
Huntington Beach High School
Pacific Palisades High School
Palm Springs High School
St. Joseph's High School
Temple City High School
University of California, Irvine
Many have since moved on to other schools, including these:
Claremont McKenna College
Cornell University
Duke University
Fullerton Junior College
Harvard University
Johns Hopkins University
Pomona College
Stanford University
University of California, Berkeley
University of California, Los Angeles
University of California, San Diego
University of Southern California
ACE's purpose was the preservation of an elaborate array of inside jokes
thorough the writing and parodying of songs, poems, and plays. The archives
were maintained by three members easily identifiable to insiders:
Actmaster Jozee - The Big Red Vice God - Old Man River City
There is a footnote series available for some of the more obscure references
(e.g. Ellisteric enzyme, Knife Victims of Seamore). Many works, however, were
lost both during circulation and afterwards. The major surviving works are
two mock epic poems and five musicals; you can mail the
Editor for text scripts:
The Arneliad
Despot of the Theatre
Encore! (file damaged)
Faculty
Our Laddy
Ray Poppins
Thespianbury Tales
There are several important pieces which have been lost:
Adam Hawley and the Theatre of Doom (Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom)
Adventures of Mister Bob (comic strip); Manson
Barbie and the Geek (Beauty and the Beast)
Little Orphan Day (Little Orphan Annie comic strip)
Parody Hell (comic strip)
Works conceived but never completed are included here.
