DANCE STAFF:

ATANAS
KOLAROVSKI is the Macedonian dancer nonpareil and a grandmaster
of grace, style, and motion. While choreographer for many years for
both the Macedonian State Folk Ensemble "Tanec" and for K.U.D. "Koco
Racin", Atanas taught many who in turn became recognized as leading
experts in Macedonian folk dance, including Pece Atanasovski, Stanimir
Visinski, Dick Crum, and Boris "Kete" Ilievski. |
STEVE
KOTANSKY is widely known as a versatile dancer and teacher. He
has made many research trips to Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Greece
and the former Yugoslavia. He has taught at the major camps all over
North America and Europe and has performed and choreographed for many
dance ensembles throughout the U.S. and Europe. |
JOE
GRAZIOSI has done extensive field research on regional dance in
Greece and among Greek communities in the U.S. He has taught throughout
the country for community groups and at major folk dance camps. Joe
was director of the Greek music tour sponsored by NEA and the Ethnic
Folk Arts Center. |
AHMET
LÜLECI is the founder and director of World Camp. A native
of Turkey, Ahmet is an accomplished folkdance teacher and performer.
He taught several excellent ensembles in Ankara, Istanbul, Eskisehir
and Bursa. Since arriving in North America, he has taught at the major
camps throughout the U.S. as well as in Asia, Europe and South America.
Ahmet has worked with many performing ensembles and currently is the
artistic director of the Boston based group, Collage International
Dance Ensemble. |
