Our collection is an amateur collection. As you may have seen, many insects are badly damaged. Those are the ones we collected four or five years ago on roads. Now our collection is becoming more professional. When we can, we breed the species of which we want the specimens, and in that way we may obtain various specimens, on which different characteristics are evident. Probably you've read the page about the Lucanidae
and already know that most of those specimens come from a breeding. If we're lucky enough to find some succesful methods for breeding, we might write them down in our site. For this October and November I think I'll manage to put some new photos of alive butterflies, and I'll try my best to improve the site.
