3. Installation of Web Server

At first a suitable web server such as IIS must be installed. The web server in Windows NT gets installed in disk C: in a directory INETPUB.

4. Installation of WWWISIS

  1. Download “wwwi32.exe” from the following FTP site ftp://brmg.bireme.br/.
  2. Then simply copy this to the directory C:\INETPUB\SCRIPTS   (these directories are created when installing the IIS of Windows NT server).

Note: Certain specific tags are used by WWWISIS for passing values   (see Table 1) as described in WWWISIS manual. For instance the following table gives some of the tags used by WWWISIS and their normal contents.

It is also possible to define specific tags to pass values to WWWISIS through the web interface. The illustrations given in this manual explain this concept. (See also section 6.2.).
