The Spirit of Things

The physical world is the manifestation of God's thinking.
We are the witnesses to this incredible event. The laws of
physics are the human interpretation and comprehension of divine
logic. The cosmos is a living and conscious entity within which
we dwell.

Philosophers and scientists are the most religious of all beings. Their
communion with God is their life's work. Searching for the understanding
and meaning of existence is nothing more than the search for God. To
understand nature is to become closer to that elusive universal impetus
commonly called the Divine Spirit.

Einstein often referred to this spirit as the "Old Man".

Whether this Entity is aware of us or not is irrelevant to the
philosopher. We strive to understand the truth. The Spirit of
this truth we may never understand.

So be it.
