If our philosophy does not bring peace then it is sick. Our basic
assumptions must be re-examined. No doubt our biases have drawn
conclusions which are partially or totally false. This is the danger
when youth, and/or the naive, attempt to address that about which
he has little or no actual experience. His preconceived notions take him
away on an absurd tangent. He finds himself explaining a fantasy!
The epitome of sick philosophy is when the philosopher contemplates
suicide from the hopelessness of his own ideas. This is proof he has
allowed his own bias to pervert the truth. Nature is not malicious.
Indeed, she is simply not that interested in you!
Nature has no plan for the individual; only a collective one. Individuals
perish so the species will improve and survive. The only individual plan is
the one the individual makes for himself. Philosophy must promote
life and health, otherwise it dead-ends in chaos. Chaos is death.
