Beltane



This feast is a celebration of fertility, as spring gives way to the summer that will last until laghnassad. The Goddess as Maiden yields to her Lover, and from their union comes all the production of summer, and the Goddess enters her phase as Mother.

In the year as a day, Beltane is the freshness of mid-morning, and is associated with southeast. In the wheel of the year, the seed flowers.
