Mabon


Mabon is the autumn equinox, the second time of the year when the day and night are of equal length. Mabon is the midpoint of autumn, marks the beginning of the dark half of the year.

In the year as a day, Mabon is sunset, and associated with the west. In the wheel of the year, the seed ripens and falls.
