An Unnecessary History

Date: Wed, 24 Apr 1996 07:54:07 -0700 (PDT) From: Jason To: Michael Subject: Hey Mike, heard you want some space   Joe mentioned that you might want some space on the pseudoserver. That'd be fine, as of right now there's plenty of space. It'd be nice if you could put your stuff in the Mike directory.

And I said, "Great!"

And months went by. I got my GeoCities account.

And the web grew up into a bustling, crowded megalith of pop culture and consumerism.

And so on.

So I figured, hey, since this in really only for my friends, the hell with anyone who stumbles across this little islet of silliness - you won't understand it! Hopefully you'll think it's goofy and subversive, but probably not. And if you have a problem with this, bite me! I'm busy! I've got a job to do, you web-surfer punks! Who do you think pays for all this stuff? You know what? Go to bed!
