(Question) There are two growths that appear to be warts on the ball of my left foot; what is the best way to dissolve or remove them? (EC) Apply each evening a small amount of baking soda wet thoroughly with spirits of camphor, just sufficient to cover same - and bind on so as to keep over the night. This will cause some little sharp pain, and a little soreness for a few days, but will dissolve and prevent any irritation following same; for these are as but those eliminations in system being thrown out in improper directions. As is seen also from pores that appear to be large, or blackheads, or spots appearing in portions of the skin. These will be aided by the use of Rochelle salts, taken in small quantities each morning. Also before the noon and evening meals take half to a quarter teaspoonful of pure olive oil. Then, for these on face and neck - well that there be made local application first of a warm Turkish towel; not hot, not steaming, but warm Turkish towel, wet, and let it remain on for eight to ten minutes. Then rub thoroughly with pure Castile soap. Then put on COLD cloths for one to two minutes, until three or four are applied. Then PAT the skin very thoroughly with the hands, until the circulation in neck and face is thoroughly established again. Do not use creams or powders while this is being applied, that will fill up pores again. If there is the necessity for making the skin more smooth, then use magnesia - or cornstarch AND magnesia, which is the better for ANY skin. Or, when there is more preference to use the talc, or powder, use the pure talc with magnesia and balsam of tolu in same - or ZINC and tolu in same. (Question) How often should these applications be made? (EC) Every other day should be sufficient. (Question) How long should they be kept up? (EC) Until these conditions disappear. The Rochelle salts would be taken in small doses (not large) each morning for five mornings, then rest three days and take for five mornings again. These conditions in system should disappear. As we find, the applications on the feet for the first three days will be rather severe - then these will gradually disappear, if these are applied each evening. (Question) What would be considered a small dose of Rochelle salts for this body? (EC) Quarter teaspoonful. Do not eat too many sweets. No fats; unless vegetable fats. READING #1101-3 (F 15)
6/15/32 (Question) Can anything be done to remove the small wart-like growth on right knee which lately is beginning to grow and spread? (EC) Massage with mixing camphor and soda, it'll make it awful sore after the second or third day, but it will disappear. READING 5290-1 (F 42) 6/27/44 (Question) What caused, and may anything be done to eliminate the red spot on my nose? (EC) This is from a broken cell. Do not irritate too much, or this may turn to a mole or wart - which would be a disfiguration to the body. We would keep a little camphor, or camphorice on same of evenings. (Question) The numerous moles which continue to occur, especially on upper part of body? (EC) This is mostly the imagination, for they come and go. And if there is kept good eliminations, we will find these will not appear. READING 288-51 (F 36) 10/15/41 (Question) Is the mole over liver malignant, and what must I do for it? (EC) This as we find is not malignant. While the conditions of the body do not permit of the body's undergoing an anaesthesia for the removal, this might be done by local anaesthesia or local application - if it is chosen by the body to be removed. For if it is tampered with, by rubbings or the applications that cause a growth, it may become so deep-seated as to cause a great deal more disturbance. But the better way is to use the applications of those things that make for the retarding of its growth; as the combination of equal portions of Mutton Suet, Turpentine and Camphor - not upon the area itself but the surrounding area, or surrounding portions. This gently massaged will tend to retard or keep down irritation and retard any tendency for growth; and gradually make for easing. Yet it may be removed by operative measures if so chosen - or if it becomes too much inflamed. Otherwise we would leave it as it is, using those conditions as indicated. |
