Subject: HR Emergency

Human Resources has regained occupation of its offices in the Raymond Priestley building which were occupied by the students. While no major damage appears to have been done to systems, the Department will operate on a reduced scale today (Monday 12 May).

Please note:

. no job ads will be placed this weekn in the press or Uninews;

. fax, e-mail and some of the phones are unlikely to be operational till tomorrow;

We request your assistance today in the following way:

. please tell your staff not to visit Human Resources or to bring paperwork to the office;

. please contact HR only on urgent or important matters.

We will advice you when normal operations resume.

We would like to thank staff in Counselling, ITS and Propert and Buildings for their support.
