These, although official British coinage, were issued for use in Malta.

Notes- In 1844 the third farthings were produced with the G of REG on the obverse, missing. A second issue of 'corrected' coins was issued BUT these had the wrong sized G, a larger one that should have been used on the half-farthings. A third issue was produced with the fault corrected. The second issue, large G, is normally considered to be the scarcest of the three.
