School

The community is responsible for the operation of a local school where the Greek language is taught and the Hellenic culture is promoted.

In addition the school is a focal point of our community and organises a number of cultural activities to promote our traditional culture.

Currently there are two classes of pupils: the first one is offered to people without previous knowledge of the Greek language whereas the second class refers to people with previous knowledge of the language.

The classes are held once per week and are supported by two teachers.

The School is managed by an independent Committee.
