Hear the voice of the Bard! / Who present, past, & future sees, / Who's ears have heard / The holy word / That walked among the ancient trees.
In the near future I intend to set up a little web museum dedicated to William Blake here. One of the things that bothers me about info on Blake is that his art is always diced up into his prints, and his poems. The poets show you his poems, and the painters show you his prints. It seems to me that since Blake issued them together, perhaps they should stay that way.
Plans for the William Blake Page:
- Blake's Poems - Complete if possible
- Blake's Ingravings - Obviously I will need to pick and choose which ones I post because of space limitations
- Some good bio and criticism info
- Spell-Check my text
