Domestic Violence - My Story

I wasn't a battered woman. I was subjected to an extreme level of violence by my husband shortly after we separated. I am lucky to just be alive today. This is my story. Not only what happened, but how I went beyond just surviving it.

I hope that in sharing my experiences someone else might find strength and hope for themselves. I was introduced to a world I didn't know existed. The world of victims - the world of domestic violence.

I wish you peace and hope.
