Welcome to the chapel of Nosferatu. Here you will find the arcane, the obscure, the
divine and the strange.
Allow me to elucidate, my dear friend. Here is a sample
of the delights you will find amongst my collectibles.
- Dante Alighieri's Inferno - My own personal
homage to the Divine Comedy's most dark and
colourful chapter. A personal favourite of mine,
this wonderful lyric poem is, at once,
engaging and full of imagery.
- Bram Stoker's Dracula - One of the most
well-known horror characters, Count Dracula,
is also one of the most misrepresented. The
Count of Stoker's novel is a highly
cultured and strong-willed person, who uses
is great sexual power to manipulate the
feelings of those who he comes into contact with.
- Friedrich Nietzsche - One of the 19th
century's most well-known philosophers,
notorious for his (undeserved) reputation as
Hitler's official philosopher. In fact, many
of the aspects of Nazism were in direct
opposition to the thoughts of Nietzsche.
- F.W. Murnau's Nosferatu - In the era
before special effects and sound, Murnau
created a chilling and thought provoking
retelling of the Dracula novel. Due to the
threat of legal action from the wife of
Bram Stoker, Murnau renamed his character
Count Orlock, and changed the film's title
to Nosferatu, another word for vampires.
