I really enjoyed "Feeling Minnesota." A worthy redemption for Keanu Reeves, after the horror his performance in "Chain Reaction" turned out to be. I liked it, and Derek did too, but the best he could say about it was, "it was weird." It made me want to go out and see "Fargo" again -- it had the same feel. Derek wore a silk shirt, which made me very happy. The popcorn tasted like wet cardboard, which didn't make me very happy. Still, the balance of the evening easily tilted towards "good." I just spent the last hour messing around with my pages, and my wrists are starting to hurt. Although this'll be a short entry, I was still mildly productive. I wrote up a review of "Feeling Minnesota," and in putting it up I decided I needed to heavily reorganize my movie page. I broke it into pieces and went mad cutting-and-pasting, but now I'm not sure if I like how it all turned out. I was also eager to share an awesome present my friend Aaron just sent to me today. Although I usually frown upon animated gifs, the simple fact that this one was made especially for me was too much to resist not showing it off. I woke up at two this afternoon, so that's another reason I haven't much to reflect on. I paid a few bills, sorted (but failed to actually wash) my laundry, and listened to my new import Journey compilation. I reminisced far too fondly about the early 80s, briefly deluding myself into thinking music was better then.
