Pertinent Information:

Went to Ohio State for two years, married Natalie Kostelney (class of '54). Worked for Guilford Medical, Oberlin & General Industries Corp. Elyria. Divorced. Married Sandi Howard of Elyria. Sandi was killed in an auto accident. Stayed single for awhile. Married Joyce Kiser (West Virginia girl), receptionist at the Elyria Telephone company. In 1968 Joyce & I moved to British Columbia, Canada, then to Utah, where I went to work for the Utah State Univ. Engineering Dept. and Joyce was secretary to the president of Pyke Manufacturing. In 1970 I worked for Syro Steel Co., steel fabricator located in Centerville, Utah. I was sales engineer, covered all states west of the Mississippi River. Garth was born in 1972. We liked Montana, so I took a job as Area Manager for Varco-Pruden Building Systems, and located 25 miles North of Yellowstone Park on the Yellowstone River at a cross- roads called Emigrant, Montana, in what's known as Paradise Valley. I became a general building contractor in 1977. This business evolved into Construction/Project Management, which I am still doing. I went back to Ohio in 1994, had not been there since I left in 1968 - Lorain had really changed. Had a yellow perch diner at McGarvey's in Vermillion and spaghetti dinner at Presti's in Oberlin. I have been very lucky, in 1953 I had a serious hunting accident, i.e. I got shot through the hip and lost a year of high school (I should have graduated in 1954 instead of 1955). For years I had to wear a steel brace on my leg, but the injury continued to improve and in 1970 I did not need the brace anymore. The injury never did prevent me from hunting, fishing, horse back riding, or hiking the mountains in our beloved Montana. Now we pretty much bequeathed all that outdoor stuff to our son Garth and get as much enjoyment just listening to his stories. Our son, Garth, graduated from Montana State University in 1995 with a major in architecture and is working for a Billings architectural firm. My Mom, Lenore, lives 110 miles to the west in Livingston, Montana and drives to Billings to dog-sit our Doberman, Taunus when we are able to escape the Montana winters and visit Hawaii.
