I enjoy writing and so did my mom. She liked to write highly contextual poetry. It described events in her life and in the lives of those she loved. Most of the poems were written during the late sixties. Granted, her poems have more meaning to those who knew her. She past away in November of 1982 and has been missed by scores of people (especially me).
Here's a poem that my sister wrote when President Reagan was shot. It's a similar genre as my mom's.
