Math Department
The Mathematics department at Los Osos Middle School is comprised of 5 teachers: Les Beck, Mary Hunt, Russ Kiger, Ruth Martin and Dave Melton. All the teachers have 10+ years experience in teaching with an unequalled background in Mathematics not normally found in a California Public School.
All the teachers seek to create an environment to learn that covers all areas of mathematically development including: Basic Skills, Conceptual Development and Problem Solving Skill. Each teacher uses a variety of lessons to cover this objective.
