WICCAN SPELLS CANDLE MAGICK
Can be done alone or in a group. Be clear and specific about what you really want before proceeding.

Select an appropriate candle (refer to "Color Guide").

Set candle on a table with a lit white candle, annointing oil, lit incense, a container of water, a container of salt and a carving tool.

Cleanse the coloured candle with each of the elements:

Sprinkle salt on the coloured candle and say:
With earth I do cleanse this magical tool.

Sprinkle water on the coloured candle and say:
With water I do cleanse this magical tool.

Pass the coloured candle through the incense smoke and say:
With air I do cleanse this magical tool.

Pass the coloured candle through the flame of the white candle and say:
With fire I do cleanse this magical tool.

Using your carving tool, carve the appropriate symbols (hearts, dollar signs, occult symbols, words--whatever is meaningful to you) in the coloured candle as you meditate on your intent.

Rub the coloured candle with annointing oil, from the centre up and then from the centre down. Take your time and focus on your intent.

Once again sprinkle the coloured candle with salt and say:
With earth I do charge this magical tool and arm it with my will.

Sprinkle the coloured candle with water and say:
With water I do charge this magical tool and arm it with my will.

Pass the coloured candle through the incense smoke and say:
With air I do charge this magical tool and arm it with my will.

Pass the coloured candle through the flame of the white candle and say:
With fire I do charge and seal this magical tool and arm it with my will.

The candle is now prepared. You may light the coloured candle and burn it all the way down, or you can light it for a set time each night over several days before burning it all the way down.

Consider the what phase the moon is in when working this spell. If what you want is a new beginning, use the New Moon. If what you want is increase, use a waxing Moon. If you want to get rid of something then use a waning Moon. This can be further refined by considering the zodiacal sign of the Moon, aspects to one's own horiscope, etc.

LOVE SACHET
Make a pouch out of a pre-chosen material (silk or satin works well). Make sure that it can close, and nothing can fall out. Pink and red materials work well, because these colors attract love, but you can use any color you would like (see Color Guide).

Gather some, or all, of these ingredients for your sachet: Herbs: Basil, Ginger, Lavendar, Rose petals, Cinnamon.

Stones: Amethyst, Moonstone, Rose Quartz. See Gem Guide, for Gems and their meanings.

A lock of your hair will lend power to the spell.

Place each item into the sachet individually. As you do this, chant: "As I gather these, my true love shall think of me. And as each day goes by, my true love will feel his heart melt, and he/she will come about."

You can place this pouch under your pillow, or carry it with you. This spell will bring your true love to you.

LOVE SPELL
A Small Pot
Basil Seeds
Rich Soil

Sow the seeds in a small pot thinking loving thoughts about your love.

Put the pot in a warm place and water them frequently.

Keep them in a warm safe place.

DON'T let them die!!!

Sooner or later the person will start to show feelings for you and the spell has worked!

THE PATH OF LOVE
Get five red roses. Go about a block from your house and drop one rose. Drop three more on the way back home. Place the fifth rose at your door. While you do all this chant out loud or silently, "This is a path of love. My true love will find me."

You have given your true love a path by which to find you!

TRUE LOVE
If you are not sure whether you and your mate are meant for each other, and you are willing to forfeit the relationship should this not be the case, do this love spell.

Take two silver dollars. Two pennies will also do. Toss them into the air reciting, "May we each go to our own true love."

Do not do this spell unless you only want to be with a true love and so are willing to forfeit your present relationship should it not represent your true love.

Should the coins land far apart, do not take this as a sign that you will separate. This is not meant as a divination spell.

SLEEP SPELL
Tell the Goddess about your day. Tell her all of your problems, and clear your mind. Then, drink a cup of tea with honey in it. This will sooth you for sleep. Then chant out loud:

"Tonight, I shall sleep, no nightmare can haunt me, no danger can come near me. This is my will, so mote it be."

Now your sleep will be undisturbed.

WITCH BOTTLES
Gather thorns, dirt or mud, sand, water and salt. Put the ingredients into a small jar or container and chant, "In this witches bottle of mine, I contain, pins, needles, and evils of all kind. I lock these up, safe as all, this is my will, hear my call!"

Seal the jar and melt black or red wax around the seal. This will lock away all evil that has surrounded you. Bury the jar/container somewhere outside where it will not be dug up. Turn and walk away and don't look back at the place that you buried the jar. For seven days do not look at or walk over the place where the jar/container is burried. After that you may.

SPELL FOR INTERNAL WELL-BEING
Obtain a vial (about 100mL) of water from a steadily flowing river and put aside.

Light two blue candles and place at the north and south points of a circle.

Light two white candles and place at the east and west points of the same cirle.

Scatter freshly picked lavender and crushed leaves of an iceberg rose evenly around the perimeter of the circle and sit within it, facing the north point.

Cross your arms loosely over your chest and focus your awareness on the breath entering your body and slowly spreading through it.

Return your focus slowly to your environment and extinguish the candles using the river water, kneeling before each as you do so, in the order north-west-east-south.

HEALING SPELL
Put both hands to your ears. Summon all your energy and rub your temples three times in a circular motion. Chant the word Maiyor.

Put your hands to your ankles. Rub them as you did your temples, but lighter, and gather more energy. Chant the word Molaris.

Put your hands to the hurt spot, and chant the final word, Sultanar.

This spell is a small healing spell, and will usually only work on minor muscle soreness, depending on how much energy you gather and your concentration.

HEALING
3 candles -- blue, white, pink
incense (1 part allspice, 1 part rosemary)
paper with name of recipient
quartz crystal

Place candles on altar in semi-circle, with the incense off to the side

Place the person's name in the center, with the quartz crystal on top.

Center yourself, and inhale the incense. Gather energy, and when you feel ready, release the energy, directing it through the crystal to the recipient.

LURING A SPIRIT
"Darksome Night and Shining Moon, Harken to the Witches' rune."
"East then South, West then North. Hear me! Come! I call thee forth!"

INVOCATION OF THE GODDESS
Crescent One of the starry skies,
Flowered One of the fertile plain,
Flowing One of the ocean's sighs,
Blessed One of the gentle rain;
Hear my chant 'midst the standing stones,
Open me to your mystic light;
Waken me to your silver tones,
Be with me in my sacred rite!

SEVERING A RELATIONSHIP
If you are trapped in a situation with another person and wish to sever the relationship with a minimum amount of hassle.

Black candle
A fireproof bowl
Scissors
Pencil or pen
Two pieces of paper

Light the black candle.

Write your name on a small piece of paper and the other person's name on another piece.

Tie the two pieces together with a length of string or thread.

Lay the papers on your altar with the edges touching each other.

Visualize things as they are now between the two of you.

Slowly move the papers apart as far as the string will go.

Visualize a peaceful separation with the two of you turning your backs and walking away.

Now cut the string in the middle with the scissors.

Say:
I am free.
You are free.
We go our separate ways in peace.

Take the paper with the other person's name on it, light it in the candle flame, and drop it in the bowl to burn up.

Dispose the ashes when they are cool.

You could bury them or dispose of them as you wish.

SIMPLE SPELL FOR SEEING A PERSON SOON
I see the Moon, the Moon sees me.
The Moon sees (name of person) who I want to see.

PROPHESYING MARRIAGE
Look at the first Moon of the new year through a silk handkerchief.

The number of Moons showing through it represents the number of months (Moons) of single life.

ENDING BAD LUCK
Black candle
Gray candle
Orange candle
Magenta candle
Astral candle (representing yourself, refer to Astrological Color Guide)

Annoint the candles with a purification oil of blessing oil, such as lotus, and set them in holders on a safe surface.

Annoint the black candle from the end to the wick; by this action you are moving bad luck away from you.

Annoint the other candles from the wick to the end; this brings in what you desire.

The candles will be allowed to burn out completely, so be sure that you can leave them safely.

Light the astral candle representing yourself, and say:
This is me, everything that represents me.

Light the black candle, and say:
This is my bad luck. It now leaves me. I shed no tears over the parting.

Light the gray candle, and say:
This will neutralize any remnants of bad luck. They will dissolve into nothingness.

Light the orange candle, and say:
This represents the changes for good that are coming into my life. I welcome them with open arms.

Light the magenta candle, and say: This is the astral energy that I need to speed up the change.

Sit for several minutes, repeating to yourself:
I welcome change. I welcome the incoming good.

Leave the candles to burn out completely. Dispose of the wax afterward. You may find that certain friends will drop away after this ritual. This merely indicates that the friendship was not to your good. Be prepared to release whatever moves out of your life.
