Stabzland

Howdy everyone. I guess I should make a brief synopsis of who I am here. The nickname's Stabz, I acquired it about 7 years ago, That would be 1996. It just sorta stuck on after many months of hanging out at this BBS server called Gameserver of San Francisco (otherwise known as GS at that time). I have finally graduated from U.C. Berkeley in the December of 2002. I guess I should be proud, but at the same time, I’m facing what many other recent graduates are facing, “what now?” I am trying my best to find an entry-level position, but at the same time I’m working at a Barnes & Noble’s stockroom. I spend about 40 hours a week in the dungeon -  which would be my tomb and my womb (to borrow some words from Soul Reaver).

Now the task at hand is Reform. I’m planning to rebuild this webpage from ground-up. I guess I’ve gotten older and so has this page. I still think it has a lot of potential and I really like the fact that it’s been up so long. A lot of the new pages that will be added aren’t new at all, but for the first time they will all be linked together under the same roof. I hope it works out fine. I don’t even know how long it will take to put everything together, but now that I have  a better grasp on MS Frontpage (I’m using Front Page XP) I should get things flowing.

Update in Anime/Manga Presently, my favorite anime series are NOIR, Ronin Kenshin, and Initial-D. I havn't been watching so much, so this page is going to be shut down for awhile.

Update in Games : The big task at hand is to really focus on what I want to do with this page. I am trying to transform it into some sort of videogame journal or log of some sort. Perhaps I should start with the PS2 games. The last game I played on the PS2 was NBA Street vol. 2, which totally got me back into sports games. I've been absent for many years in that genre, besides the occasional SSX. Naturally I've played a couple of RPG's in transition like Dark Cloud 2 (wasted over 108 hours) and Suikoden 3 (also over 100 hours). It feels like its a year of sequels for videogames. So what have I been playing now that NBA Street 2 is returned to Blockbuster's? Well I've been trying to catch up in computer games. Having my hands full on Tropico 2 and Microsoft's Rise of Nations.

Update in  Comics . No updates! Last thing I've read was the complete Preacher series. Like Kevin Smith said, "It's better than going to the movies."

Update in  the Reading Webpage . More updates on the Reading Page. I'm finally over the 34,000 page limit. Perhaps I'll get to 50,000 by the next two years. I don't think I'm reading enough, although I work at Barnes & Noble. It's weird how you just want to get away from books after shipping and unpacking them all day. On my limited spare time I've been trying to write something. Perhaps it will get good one of these day. So anyway, what was the last book I read? Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Just getting myself ready for the fifth enormous book.
NOW CURRENTLY READING: 1. George Carlin's Napalm and Silly Putty
