It would take some pretty interesting guys to woo such an unconventional lady's heart. And so they are. From the gay dancer to the scientist to the weird psychiatrist, Phoebe has had some fascinating lifes and times. Her relationships though numerous doesn't seem to have lasting quality as she hasn't been in a really steady relationship for some time now.

There is no doubt too that the lady has a fetish for men in uniform from dating a navy officer to a fireman to a policeman. Perhaps her youth with the occasional brush with the law has given her a thing for the badge and authority.

Roger the Shrink

The man that everyone loves to hate. Haven't you met a guy who analyzes and tells everything that you secretly hate about yourself. An eminent psychiatrist, Roger starts dating Phoebe and she is intrigued by his dark, brooding quality while her friends absolutely hate him.

David the Scientist

Han Azaria as the Scientist Guy Forever remembered as the guy who dares to interrupt Phoebe in the midst of her singing, David had to talk fast to get his way out of an irate singing woman. But evidently, the man has his own charm.

You are luminous with a kind of a delicate grace. Then, uh, that-that-that's when you started yelling.

Charming, gentle, sweet and methodical, the man would rather talk about particle accelerators than love but when push comes to shove, David proves that he can be as much a sweeper as any other man. Their romance went on perfectly but unfortunately it couldn't last as David was called away at the last minute to Minsk.

Duncan the Straight

Unbeknownst to everyone, for a long time Phoebe Buffay was actually a married woman! While pretending to be single and having various flings, she was actually bound to a gay Ice Capades dancer who threw such great Academy Award parties which actually makes her a bigamist!

Steve Zahn as Duncan As Duncan was then only a struggling Canadian dancer and needed a green card, Phoebe agreed to become his missus eventhough he professed to be gay - which presumably was because he was smart, handsome, funny and a dancer which supposedly spells gay.

But then Duncan shows up again in New York and makes a declaration to... 'in' himself rather than be 'out' as he realizes that he's not actually gay.

I mean, you know, you're married to someone for six years and you think you know him and then one day says, 'Oh, I'm not gay.'

This leads Phoebe to become a divorcee as Duncan has plans to marry another woman!

Ryan the Sailor

Like ships that pass by in the night, Ryan comes by once a year as his shop docks in New York. An annual affair, Phoebe and Ryan go at it like bunnies on Eveready for several days before he's called back to sea. Unfortunately on one of his excursions in New York, the lovely Phoebe contracts chicken pox and is highly contagious. But as randy as he is after months at sea, Ryan just can't control himself and their subsequent proximity causes him to be a victim of the pox too.

Vince the Fireman

Matt Battaglia as Vince

It was at this time where Phoebe's hormones were on a rampage and she was trying to be a juggler with two men, Vince and Jason. As she was trying to decide between them, she saw that Vince had one excellent point going for him - a great, burly body and a hunky face to boot.

Unfortunately she later finds out that he also has a sensitive side and writes soul-searching journals which endears him to her.

Jason the Teacher

The opposite happens here as Pheebs finds herself attracted to Jason for his sweet, sensitive quality and his intelligence. But just as she is about to leave him for Vince, she finds him shirtless and the man turns out to be pretty buff too.

Larry the Health Inspector

People visit restaurants to have healthy meals but Phoebe goes there to get health inspectors. A visit to Monica's restaurant, Allessandro's gets her a date with Larry the Health Inspector. A man who sticks to the book, he immediately sets out on a mission to close down every eatery that Phoebe frequents. The sense of power that she gets in the beginning disappears when she realizes that she's left with nowhere to eat.

Gary the Cop

For a lady who once stabbed a cop ( cause he stabbed her first! ), Phoebe has had some close brushes with the law. Finding a police badge in the Central Perk, she immediately rushes out to enforce her own brand of justice. Unfortunately she bumps into the real owner of the badge, Gary, who sunsequently falls for her while she's pretending to be a fake undercover whore.
