For those who can't view a channel--
A channel is a new feature of IE4 and Netscape Communicator 5x. A user can add a channel to his channel bar, where it will display a list of links organized in folders. Channels can be updated automatically, and make it possible for a user to explore the list of links with out having to click back to the originating page. Also, the risk of going so far into a link that the original page is lost is eliminated.

The image to the left is a sample of what a channel consists of-- if you click on any of the links, you will be taken to that page. If you click on a folder (in this case, a yellow block) the contents of that folder are either extended (shown) or collapsed (hidden). |
