PHILOSOPHY
The statement of the philosophy of the Andrew J. Bell Jr. High School represents the combined expressions of beliefs of the students, parents, teachers, and administrators of the Bell School Family. Members of the Bell School Family believe the ultimate objective of the school is to help the student to grow and develop toward his fullest potential as an American citizen. Consequently, the Bell School program is a diversified one, designed to meet the intellectual, physical, emotional, social, and cultural needs of each individual student. It focuses on the slow, average, and academically able, as well as, on individuals with special problems and interests. Realizing the importance of being fully prepared to identify and meet the needs of students with whom they work, staff members of the Andrew J. Bell School are constantly involved in the acquisition of knowledge and understanding of the stages of development of the adolescent.
