Hey! My name is Laura. I'm a Junior at Converse College and an education major. I'm 21 and I've got long brown hair with red and gold tints and blonde streaks in it. I've got greenish eyes that tend to change colors, I wear glasses, and I'm 6'0. I'm a member of the Church of JESUS CHRIST of Latter-day Saints. I started writing this page because I needed a place to put stuff about my favorite books and there just wasn't enough room on my other page! I'm just going to put basic information here...anything else you can see at my other home on the web, BrightFeather's Funny Farm. I come from a big family, I've got three brothers and two sisters. It's a wonder that my parents survived all of us!

Now, on to my favorite books...You've probably run into my Mercedes Lackey, (work in progress) but you haven't seen the Pooh page I'm writing. :) I'll probably be adding an Elizabeth Moon page, and I love Tolkien too. I like Tamora Pierce's books, especially the Wild Magic and Song of the Lioness serises. I love Patricia Wrede's Enchanted Forest Cronicles too! (They're like fairy tales for older people) Ya'll just might be seeing stuff about all of these and more pretty soon...I have to admit that I absolutely, positively, HATE lots of the morals in literature today. See, I think that sleeping with someone that you aren't married to is wrong and they seem to do an awful lot of that in the media these days. You see lots of it in Misty's books and Tamora's books with very little in Elizabeth's. Much of the time, I would rather read kid's books just so I don't have to deal with it.
