the spider proudly made her web
pronounced it to be done
suddenly a fly came by
and caught between the strands
all the web was tangled
far beyond repair
the spider then did leave her home
too wary of despair
she found herself a shielded glass
and wove her web within
her creation stood in safety
no fly could harm again
look inside the glass now
no spider will you find
the web still stands unharmed
starved, the spider died
