A BAD YEAR FOR BUGS
This year all the bugs are being
rather bad,
One of the worse years, they say,
we have had,
Blackflies, mozzies, midges, biting
spiders too,
They seem to have bitten us May and
June through.
The last two nights sleep was really
quite in vain,
For there were bugs in th e bedroom buzzing
quite plain,
Even covered with sheets, teeth got
right through
Goodness knows how big those teeth
are, do you?
Teeth or stinger which ever they
want to use
Are a pain in the neck and give us
all the blues,
Big red bumps that itch and drive you
round the bend,
This year all will be glad when the bug
season does end.
