        WRITE ABOUT US
Write about ‘us’ my husband said to me
As we drove to the temple and to see family,
Now ‘us’ is not too easy when you feel like one,
Two in bulk and name then the difference is done.

We are getting old body parts not working as well,
Look at our white hair and wrinkles and you can tell,
But the more we are together more united we grow,
For almost fifty years married hand in hand we still go.

We love to give freely so that most of our needs are met,
Although when sickness comes we sometimes often fret,
We frequently sit and talk thinking about being young,
Knowing that since we met each heart can sing a love song.

Contention does not matter for it takes two to argue you see,
When you have the deepest love contention should never be,
Doing little things for each other make the world a better place
And still be able to gaze at each other and see love in each face.
