TRAVELLING DAYS
I hope that our travelling days are not all
over and done
For there are more places we want to see
and have fun,
I’d love to go to PEI where Anne of Green Gables
came to be,
And be on that small island surrounded by
the mighty sea.
Visit Newfoundland and also more distant far
off Labrador,
Feel the love and friendship, learn and
love a lot more,
Feel the severity of the North Atlantic
Ocean in a storm,
Then stay in a cozy inn where all is safe,
happy and warm.
Stand on the cliffs and watch a lighthouse give off
saving light,
It would not even matter if the weather was not sunny
and bright.
The Territories are hard yet then to all of Canada
we’ll have seen,
From sea to shining sea, the great lakes and then far
north have been,
And what a wealth of history, love and beauty we will be
able to share
With all our ancestors and friends in heaven when we
meet up there.
