More poems about Beauty Spots

SIT AND GAZE
As we sit and gaze at the trees and rocks
so grand,
See the lake like diamonds, do we really
understand?
Stare in awe at the beauty and even a greater
treasure
Is when waters are still and all is given in double
measure.
As I write scenes down in flowing poetry simple
and sweet,
There it is to re-read and you remember each
lovely treat,
Then when days are dreary with bare trees before
the snow,
Then into your memory banks these poems help
you to go.
