SONG OF THE BREEZE
Listen, can you hear the sweet song of
the breeze
As it whispers a melody to the soft
sighing trees?
Can you hear the laughter of the stream
hurrying by
And listen to the birds wings as they aim
far up high?
The long grass and the reeds seem to join
in the melody,
Singing nature’s soft gentle, healing song
to me,
In the evening the sun does gently down to give
us rest
And the song of sweet nature seem to be at her
very best.
When the sun touches the sky with red and the
nightjar sings,
A sweet kiss of peace to all who hear that sweet
sound brings.
