… was the destination for this year’s Spring break. Okay, I am a college student, where else was I supposed to go? But my brother Henryk and his friend Johannes came over to visit me. They first spent a couple of days in Chicago, Ill., and then took the Greyhound bus to Columbus. After a wonderful time in Athens, OH, where I simultaneously kept them busy and prepared for my finals, we hit the road.

We are getting started! The car is packed, Henryk took the job as navigator and knew what he was doing - and we are ready to go.

We stopped in Hickory, NC and Savannah, GA. What a wonderful place!

But the boys could not wait to get down to Daytona Beach, Fla.! We joined all the guys cruising around and showing off. But hey! We had the coolest car in town - and on the beach!!

My birthday present was the ticket to Disney World. After a long discussion we decided to go to "Magic Kingdom". We had so much fun, but on a weekday in March we spent hours in line. What is going on there on a hot summer Saturday??

Now, Spring Quarter started again, and I will be busy writing papers and my thesis.
