Dittie really doesn't do a whole lot ... but she likes to make people
think she does. She'll go to
meetings exclaiming how busy she is, and she really doesn't have time
to be in these meetings. You
know the kind -- "I'm too important to be here." In reality, what she
really wants to do is go talk on
the telephone - not to clients, but to her husband, her friends (???),
and co-workers. Oh!!! Let's not
forget the novel she works on at the office. She puts a lot of energy
and company time in this novel.
Like it will go anywhere anyway -- but it's only company time, what
does that matter?
Of course, a busy person has many files piled on their desk, right?
Sure they do. They just don't
bother putting anything away so that it looks like they are SO busy.
Now, Dittie has time to date
letters for at least five days in advance. This, to me, is a sign of
SUCH a busy person. Doesn't this
seem like a busy person to you?
LET'S DO LUNCH
Then, Dittie must do lunch. Naturally, none of the important people
in the office want to have lunch
with Dittie, so Dittie lords herself over her lowly co-workers trying
to let them know how important
she is and just how lucky they are to be having lunch with her. She
might even gossip and let you in
on some secret. What she forgets is that everyone else already knows
this gossip and is just letting
her think she knows something they don't. Of course Dittie carefully
avoids having lunch around
anyone who might know that she really doesn't know shit. Oh ... well,
maybe she knows shit, just
really doesn't know anything of importance.
AEROBICS AND WHATNOT
Dittie rarely makes it to work on time ... Probably only when she knows
for sure someone is going
to check on her. Then, she says she makes up her time by stating late
or staying through lunch.
Excuse me? This girl has never stayed through her lunch working on
the company's work in her life.
As for staying late ... I don't think she's ever stayed ten minutes
without making sure she takes that
ten minutes extra at lunch or coming in late. In fact, when she's put
in her time (or a little less), her
computer is off and she is outta there! Dittie also does aerobics every
Tuesday and Thursday at
lunch time. Now mind you, she doesn't just do aerobics for her lunch
hour ... she takes at minimal a
one and one-half hour lunch, and pretends to make up the time. Oh that
Dittie, she's such a busy girl! Don't you think she deserves a big salary?
SELF WORTH
Well, Dittie certainly thinks she has a lot of self worth and she has
some people fooled, but not me!
Oh no, Rebel Mary knows what she's up to ... and guess what ... a lot
of other people are starting to
figure you out too.
IN CONCLUSION
I really think the below outlines our friend at the office:
