Here in Southern California we have a lot to offer. We have sunshine, blue skies, ocean waters ... and, oh yeah, El Niņo!
The thing is, here in Southern Cal, we have no idea what this El Niņo thing really is. Sure, we have some warm ocean waters - but, this IS Southern California. Yeah, we've had a little more rain than usual. The biggest problem seems to be the way these idiotic roads and freeways were built. We have flooding and sink holes. Gee, could it be that the roads and freeways were built with the idea that it never rains in Southern California? What a laugh! Even in mild winters, the slightest amount of rain causes major problems. The freeways and roads are not engineered properly for drainage of any water. So ... with a few sprinkles, our freeways are like lakes.
Well, enough of my rambling about this for now ... Tune in later and
maybe I'll have something more positive to say.
