The motto is a ribbon or tag suspended around the bottom or top of the achievement. Often times the location is different because of individual design. The motto is intended to indicate the attitude of the family (or country, or individual) bearing it. Often mottos are in latin or french. The motto is an opptional component of the achievement but it lends character, which is why I recommened useing one.Example Quotes:
