Bomb Crater at The Nash

Three men standing in the World War 2 bomb crater outside The Nash (a large house in the south of the village). Sorry about the quality, the original has deteriorated.

In 1940 a line of at least 8 bombs fell, straddling the house, with the one in the photo hitting the front lawn.
