When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child,
I reasoned like a child.   (1 Corinthians 13:11)

And even though we have grown up now,
those memories remain to be ours to keep.

"I still have recurring dreams about SPCC even today. One is forgetting to go to Geography class all semester. Another is forgetting to bring sneakers for P.E. And just 2 nights ago, I was hired to conduct the school orchestra..."                                                                                      -- Raymond Kwan

"scout team, choir, football and basketball grounds; most importantly -- friends!!!"                                                                                      -- Lawrence Chan

"Miss Fok (Form teacher of 1E)'s little rabbit at home died. She was so depressed that we used class fund and bought her another rabbit. She was so delighted."

-- Michael Cheung

"choir rehearsals, 10-minute lunches, getting used to the uniform, doing math/scribbling on the hymn book with others during morning assembly, singing contests, opera, etc etc."
                                                                                    -- Piera Lam

"hanging out at arcade centres after school in Wanchai and Causeway Bay with Marco Chan, Kenneth Li Kai Wong, Yu King Chung, Chan Wai and many other guys. Every time we got beat up in a Street Fighter game by some outsider, Chan Figher (Marco) always help us out and win the machine back for us. :)"
                                                                                    -- Kenneth Hui

"This series of event that I remember is associated with Fung Cheuk Wing, Chung Wai Kok, Yu King Chung. I feel very happy that we have a chance to become quite good friends in Lower Six. I remember one night after dinner at my place, the four of us went to a nearby playground and talked for a long time under the clear night sky. I remeber another night, the four of us had hot pot dinner at Chung Wai Kok's place near the HKU medical school. After dinner, the four of us started to tell each other ghost stories of HKU and we didn't leave until breakfast the day after. I am not sure if we are more afraid of the ghosts or the fierce dogs in the buildings next to Chung's place. :P"

"hippo of form 4!!!!! She is really 'something' !!"
                                                                                    -- Trevor Lee

"It is quite funny. Every time when I meet the SPCC alumni, we always talk about our old teachers/silly high school recollection. Do you remember Mr. Tsui (the small hammer)? Jackie, a week ago, cannot stop laughing when I imitated Mrs. Mak's (the history/scripture/English teacher) prologue "Last time, I have mentioned about ..." The humorous pronunciation of biological vocab. of Ms. Lee Law Tak is still in my mind. The Sports Day, Swimming Gala - we always hanged around the street (of course we had our uniform changed) afterwards. For the guys, how many of you still have your "products" from the D.T. class? As Christmas's coming, of course, I remember the St. Joseph's Church."
                                                                                    -- Dennis Wong

"The most memorable event at SPCC for me is the year of Low 6. I think this was a year full of exciting non-academic events. I had a lot of excuses to put aside my textbook in that year, though I did that in other six years also. Everyone was working hard for different clubs, choirs, orchestra, prefect jobs, different sports event (we had our last sports day in SPCC), and it was also the great year of democratic movement in China, I think most of you guys can recall those days! For me to choose the most most memorable event, I believe I just can't forget this entire one seventh of my years in SPCC."
                                                                                    -- Kwong Chi Yam

"Winning the Division B basketball championship in 1986 - F.4."
                                                                                   -- King Leung

"Unlike many of you, I was not an 'in-house' project from SPCC primary school, and I spent my first 3 years at SPCC in the infamous Class 'A'. David Ma ('88) once told me that when he was in F.1-3F, he always had the impressive that the F.1-3A people were the most notorious folks around, the gangster-type, thus they were isolated from the rest of the classes. We, the F.1-3A folks, did to a great extent realize the biases people had against us, so we were always looking out for opportunities to take revenge. The 'Judgment Day' came during my second year at SPCC. We were having our Annual Athletic Meet at the HK Government Stadium. And the further the day progressed, the more it seemed like my classmates, especially the girls, were invincible on the race track. At the end of the day, we got so many winners that my palms were literally 'bruised' from clapping! We were crowned the Champions of the school that year. O, what a sweet revenge!!!"
                                                                                  -- Kin Lam

"SPCC choir competition/performances"
                                                                                  -- Jackie Tsoi

"When we were studying at F.1C classroom, the most unforgettable thing was the odour from the male washroom next door."
                                                                                  -- Pamela Lin

"I thought I was in a storage room during my entry exam for Form 1. Maybe I shouldn't have that innocent thought, as I ended up sitting in the same classroom for the whole year -- 1C !!"
                                                                                  -- Theresa Tam
