Beyond the Western Sea: Book One: The Escape From Home
By: Avi
Rating:

This book has it all. It has mystery, action, excitement, drama, and supense. It also has a great story-line, is well written, and seems very real. This book is fansastic!

The Escape From Home is about a brother, a sister, and a wealthy boy who runs away. They meet up in Liverpool England, all heading for America and adventures.

This book has mystery, even though you know what's going on the whole time. Avi (author) writes this book, so you root for people. You want some of the people to figure it out, but you don't want other.

There was a lot of action in The Escape From Home. it adds to the excitement and helps keep up the pace, especially when there is a lot of talking. There was action when they're talking sometimes and it made it a lot better.

The supense is very intense in the end. There is lots of action, drama, and more, and you have to wait until the next book to know what happens.

The drama is touching, sad, and makes you feel for the character. It adds a feeling to the story.

The Escape From Home seems very real and is very vivid. This book is probably historical-fiction and he does a very good job of making it real.

Avi is an excellent author and writes this story extremly well. He is known for this great quality.

I'm looking forward to reading the next book, Beyond the Western Sea: Book Two: Lord Kirkle's Money. I hope it lives up to The Escape From Home. It had a powerful effect on me.
