Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets

Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is my least favorite Harry Potter book. That is not to say that it is bad, it is an excellent book, but there are a few things that I do not like about it (which I will get into later).
The Chamber of Secrets starts with Harry beginning his second year at Hogwarts. Before he goes, he meets an elf named Dobby at Privet Drive. Dobby warns Harry not to go to Hogwarts because something terrible will happen to him there. Of course Harry really wants to go to Hogwarts, so he ignores Dobby's warning.
Harry goes to Ron's house for the rest of the summer after a mishap at the Dursley's. It is fun to get to know all of Ron's family and see what a real wizarding family lives like.
When Harry and his friends get to Hogwarts, they learn that the chamber of secrets has been opened. To learn more, read the book!
There are a few things that I don't like about The Chamber of Secrets. One, is Colin Creevey. He is an annoying first year who worships Harry. Secondly, I don't like Gildroy Lockhart, the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. He is meant to be annoying, which makes him, well . . . annoying! But don't let these characters defer you from a wonderful book. Make sure to read Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets before you see the movie in November!
