Shrek is the sweet story of an ogre who goes on a "quest" to get his swamp back. Shrek (voiced by Myers doing a Scottish accent) is a lonely, mean ogre who doesn't have any friends. When the happy (and hilarious) Donkey joins him on the road, all kinds of wonderful and funny things happen.
I love Shrek because it funny, sweet, has a great story, and wonderful animation from Dreamworks. Even though you may think this is a kid's movie, it really is not. Kids will appreciate the story, animation, and the occasion joke. Adults will love the grown-up humor and colorful animation.
I recommend Shrek, which won an Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film.
