Adventures. Life is short; let’s have dessert first – Bicycle touring, California, North America, Europe… Also a hike or two. And a few random adventures.

• In 1989, Dave and I did a trans-continental bicycle tour
• Dave went cycling in the Sierra with nephew Loren, 1991.
• When he was young and foolish (and strong enough), Dave spent a weekend riding Sonora and Tioga passes.
• In ’92, we did a tandem tour of northern California
• Another tour of northern California, Dave with Loren, Tim and Shannon.
• Dave got a chance to tour the White Rim trail in Canyonlands national park
• Dave did a solo bike tour from Copenhagen to Munich
• ...and a Pacific coast tour with nephew Charles
• Here’s a hiking tour, the Bear Trail in Switzerland
• In April 1999, Dave visited Hamburg

Humour

You find statues, murals, fountains everywhere. Each has some combination of historic, grotesque, dramatic, tragic, graceful, and other attributes. We watch for them all, especially the humorous. Here are a few favourites, most from Germany, which does well on this particular subject.
