Welcome to Nik's Personal Page

This homepage is for me to share with the world my diverse interests in many fields. But first, let me introduce myself. I am an undergraduate student at Institut Teknologi MARA (ITM) or in English, MARA Institute of Technology. I am currently studying for a degree in Information Technology at the Institute's Faculty of Information Technology and Quantitative Sciences. God willing, I will graduate in May 1999. Unix is an operating system (OS) on which the Internet is built on. It comes in various incarnations such as Solaris, HP-UX, AIX and also Linux. For me, Unix is the superior OS compared to others. Let me admit it, I'm a news junkie. I cannot stand it if I don't get to read my favourite newspaper for a day. Although I don't believe everything that is reported in the newspaper nowadays, reading it will at least give me some knowledge on what is happening around the world. Security here means computer and network security. I love to read stories about people breaking into supposedly secure computer installations. Reading is one of my favourite pastimes. The link contains the list of sites hosting electronic texts such as novels and speeches. It also contains links to my favourite authors' homepages.
