Realistically, our House of Representatives would be
terribly unmanageable with so many members, therefore, in 1929 the House of Representatives
passed legislation that the number of Representatives would permanently remain at 435,
and the number of Representatives
given to each state would be proportionate to their population as decided by the census.
Today
