Palestine Map

Biographical data
Hello fellow Internet surfer and welcome to my home page. I am very glad that you made it this far.. and hope that you will stick around long enough to get the best of my home page. I am a Palestinian, you might know what is the meaning of being a "Palestinian". If you don't, I will have the pleasure to tell you. It is like passing safely between two bullets all the time; you are living the complexity of fear, awe, love, and sacrifice in every moment of your life.

I was born in Gaza Strip ; The most troublesome area on earth. It is a kind of   joy to be a Palestinian who is living in Gaza. Gaza ! How do I name my expectations? The pleasureless salt in a glass of water; the cracked browned teeth in a smile; the echoes of a family in a single concrete room; the casual encirclement by concertina wire; the meeting of eyes; the wisp of steam from hot bread broken; the trusts. Where at a checkpoint I sigh from soft orange blossoms. Where a boy is killed by the denial of papers. Where memories are held close like relics gathered before rumors of fire. Where life and death live together in harmony.

I realized when I grew up that my town of origin is not Gaza, but it is
"Al- Majdal Asqalan" that was occupied by Israel in 1948 and called Ashkelon later. My family along with the other Palestinians where expelled out of their land which was confiscated by some other people. I am happily married (Thanks to Allah) and I have a smart baby girl named Rahaf.
