The brainwashing that goes on in our free societies, on the part of opportunists is present in most postmodern nations. There are members of governments and bureaucracy, that have an agenda of social engineering. That is to say that they are not satisfied with serving society by reflecting the wishes & opinions of it's citizens. Their aim is to educate citizens so that thoughts & opinions reflect THEIRS. An elected government has the right to push the envelop, make tough decisions etc. However, brainwashing is alive and well; ask yourself 'is that healthy or natural?' It puts at risk really, the entire foundation on which free society was based.
