I was born in 1978 in Akademgorodok , the Academy town, 30 kilometers from Novosibirsk. I studied in the school 130 (the best school in Academy town and thus all over the world). It was the time of changes and educational experiments. For example I didn't have the 4th grade because of the shift of all numeration, and have been in 9th two times because of the inverse shift. Then, in 8th grade the school divided in three: beginning, middle and college. And college itself divided in branches: general, phys.-math., econom., chem.-bio. and humanitarian. So, I've chosen math. More or less at that time I finished music school in piano, and after special course in computer programming, received status of "2nd level laborant-programmer" (don't ask me what is it, I don't know). Also passed exam on green belt in karate. Then I entered on math faculty in Novosibirsk State University, which is still the third best university in math., after Moscow State University and [ here could be yours ]. And after one year moved to Campinas, Brazil, because all my family was already there (here) two years. There I've entered undergraduate math course at, UNICAMP (University of Campinas). After graduating, I've applied and got accepted to Ph.D. math. program in the University of Oklahoma, where I'm going already this summer. Not to waste time, I've entered graduated program in Computer Science here, at Unicamp (always wanted to know what is it like to learn computers officially ;).

  • And here is another small game I wrote in LisP, as a part of AI mini project: bw.txt Played on chess board, with two kings, see comments for rules. You must have LisP interpreter and some acquaintance with LisP to run it.
