Adroitly the spider crawls down the pane
Pulling behind it its long silver string
Racing the teardrops that fall from the rain

Quietly the spider weaves in her lace

With her silver thread her words she will trace

Spider is a nickname that I picked up as a result of the athletic side of my personality. I love to climb things. Trees are my friend. Stairs must be taken at least two at a time. I am not a sporty kind of person; to be so would make to much of a distinction between energetic activity and the rest of my life. Who needs aerobics when you can dance in the rain? Why be on the track team when you can hike in the mountains (I love the location of my school)?

I should watch how I say that. There are some things you just can't do as a practical part of your everyday life. That is why I am part of a fencing team. I mean, how often on a day to day basis do you get to duel with your friends. [If you happen to be one of my friends, don't answer that.] I adore fencing because it exercises intelligence and physical ability. Are you familiar with the sport?
