And Israel vowed a vow unto the Lord, and said, if thou wilt indeed deliver this people into my hand, then I will utterly destroy their cities.
Numbers 21:2
And they warred against the Midianites, as the Lord commanded Moses; and they slew all the males. Numbers 31:7 And the children of Israel took all the women of Median captives, and their little ones, and took the spoil of all their cattle, and of all their flocks, and all their goods. Numbers 31:9 And they burnt all their cities wherein they dwelt, and all their goodly castles with fire. Numbers 31:10 Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that has known man by lying with him. Numbers 31:17 But all the women children that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves. Numbers 31:18 And the Lord spake unto Moses in the plains of Mohab by Jordan near Jericho saying, Numbers 33:50 Speak unto the children of Israel and say unto them, When you are passed over Jordan into the land of Canaan; Numbers 33:51 Then ye shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their pictures, and destroy all their molten images, and quite pluck down all their high places. Numbers 33:52 And ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land: for I have given you the land to possess it. Numbers 33:53 This day will I began to put the dread of thee and the fear of thee upon the nations that are under the whole heavens, who shall hear report of thee, and shall tremble, and be in anguish because of thee. Deuteronomy 2:25 And they utterly destroyed all that was in the city, both man and woman, young and old, and ox, and sheep, and ass, with the edge of the sword. Joshua 6:21 And all the spoil of these cities, and the cattle, the children of Israel took for a prey unto themselves; but every man they smote with the edge of the sword, until they had destroyed them, neither left they any to breathe.
