Welcome!Toastmasters International is an organization dedicated to helping people improve their public speaking and leadership skills. On my site, I have a lot of information fellow Toastmasters will find useful. You'll find speeches and articles I've written, along with information I've dragged in from other sites on the Internet. My goal is to provide Toastmasters with resources for all their speech-writing needs. Good luck in your speaking and may your verbs always be active!
What You'll Find On My Site:Brainstorm: Do you need new ideas for your meetings, speeches, or table topics? Check here -- I got 'em! Calendar: I have an activities calendar for every month of the year and an annual calendar with weekly themes, words, and thoughts for you to use. You'll find these calendars a wonderful source of ideas for your club's meetings. Clubs: I belong to two clubs and have a bit of information here about each of them. If you happen to be traveling through southern Arizona, you'd be welcome as the rain in the desert to stop by and visit! Lessons: My hope is that lessons I've learned along the way will also help you succeed. For example, I have essays on Introductions, Evaluations, and Stage Fright. I also have PowerPoint Slide Shows on The Toastmaster's Education System and Using An Overhead Projector. I will occasionally add to my lessons so you can benefit from whatever knowledge I have to share. Links: Use this to find Web links of interest to Toastmasters. Included are various writing guides, dictionaries, manuals for debate, quote books, and many other sources of information. Speeches: I've written (like most Toastmasters) many speeches. I've included several of my speech outlines here for you to use if you so desire. Take a look, you may find something that you would like to adapt for your own speaking situation.
